Zoom Teeth Whitening Formula

Zoom teeth whitening uses an active ingredient of hydrogen peroxide gel, that is specially formulated and pH balanced. This gel is applied on to the teeth followed by exposing it to UV light to create long lasting whitening effect.

Zoom Teeth Whitening Effect

Zoom teeth whitening yields immediate results of up to 8 shades lighter and the process roughly takes about an hours time.

Zoom Teeth Whitening Procedure

  • Our dentists will undertake a brief test to examines your teeth and gums to evaluate whether the gums are healthy enough to handle teeth bleaching
  • Following the examination, the dentists will isolate your lips and gums
  • The Zoom whitening gel is then applied on to your teeth
  • Exposing the gel to UV light then activates the whitening gel. The Hydrogen Peroxide present in the gel will then break down to release oxygen, which then enters the enamel and dentil causing weakening of stained molecules present on the teeth. The structure of the teeth however remains unchanged but results in shades much lighter than before
  • This above process may be repeated approx. 3-4 times until the desired teeth shade of the patient is achieved.
  • The patient may also be asked to undergo a 5 minute fluoride treatment upon which the Zoom treatment is complete.
